A real delight to read about activities in Sheffield. Prayer is good, yes . . . ummmm … but … soul??? whose soul? what soul? Unless you mean like rhythm and blues soul, the ever changing spirit, essence and life of a person?

Yes, I meant more in the poetic sense of the word rather than as a reference to an “eternal soul”…. prayer is good for the heart if you prefer :)

We’ve just been to the Stupa! Dh. Pr. Miao-san and I went last Sunday for the blessing ceremony, it was wonderful to be there.

The atmosphere in Brookwood was very ethereal, on the edge of this world and the next especially with the Gagaku music playing - moving stuff.

We held a vigil on Thursday of last week and are planning another. Does it make a difference? I don’t know but it did touch some peoples hearts. And the alternative is to do nothing….which doesn’t seem possible.
